Wouldn't you love it if you can rank #1 for the keyword "books"? Books are the #1 purchased item on the internet. They drive millions of dollars in sale each year. Books are not the only item selling on the internet these days. In fact, most people sell blankets, car parts and just about anything that you can possibly want. However, if you are not ranking in the first three results for any particular keyword, you simply don't exist.

Most businesses today have given up on SEO. They are instead relying on Pay Per Click experts and field marketers. They are going back to good old fashioned knocking on doors. The reason for this is that there are too many businesses to compete with on the internet. Without a good SEO strategy, your business is doomed to fail. People are not looking for business in the Yellow Pages anymore. In fact, most people throw out or put their Yellow Pages in the closet. The internet makes it too easy to search for anything. You can even speak into your I-phone in order to have your computer find information for you.

If you are thinking about a positive SEO strategy, you are not alone. Each day, millions of people around the world want to have hope. They want to be able to see that search engines are there to help them. In order to rank high in the search engines, it is important to focus on what is on your website. Most people are concerned about ranking. Forget about ranking. It takes too much time each day to scan the search engines in order to see if you come up anywhere. Instead, use that time to write an article that is in depth for your readers. Your readers want to see what your website has to offer. They want to see what your website has for them.

Focus less on trying to sell a reader something. Content marketers today say that if you capture your audience's attention with your article, they may often buy from you because they want what you have. They will purchase something without realizing that they were looking for it in the first place. The best websites are those that are easy to navigate through and offer your reader something for free. People constantly want to learn. If you give them a bunch of garbage, they often won't bother clicking or signing up for anything on your website.

It is important to post something daily on your website. Readers often go back to websites that they enjoy reading. They want to stay engaged and look for information that makes sense to them. Amazingly, most readers will have around 1 to 5 websites that they regularly visit. They often want to relate to the website owner. If you have a personal story, tell your readers about it. People actually want to know more about you and who you are.
